Fertilizer Depot

In the dairy year

Spring wants lime, a named fungicide, a tank that matches the hole in the map. Autumn wants what the rotation just took out. The depot is the yard you drive to, not a magic shop list.

If Soil Fertilizer is present, specialist fill types unlock. If it is not, the depot is still a placeable store. The year does not brick.

The feel

You place the depot. You buy and store. You fill a trailer or a tank at season-adjusted prices. It is commerce for the agronomy chapter, not another overlay pretending to be a field.

How it works

Three placeables, all under Production → Factories:

Building	How you use it
Fertilizer Depot	Walk inside (5 m). Buy, pre-order, order a delivery, sell surplus, open admin.
Fertilizer Silo	Walk or drive up. Collect a pre-order into a parked vehicle.
Supplier Pickup Zone	Place near an in-game shop. Pickup point when you haul a restock yourself.

Direct fill. Park a sprayer or tanker within 60 m of the Depot, walk in, open BUY, pick type and amount. If a compatible vehicle is close enough it fills on the spot.

Pre-order. No vehicle at the Depot? Set the order in BUY. Drive to the Silo, dismount, press E, confirm. The mod finds the vehicle and fills it.

Player delivery. Order a full restock, drive to the supplier zone, haul it back. The depot stocks itself when you return. Bags and tanks can also spawn at the Depot for pickup.

Prices shift ±15% across the four seasons. Sell surplus back at 80% of the current buy price (that ratio is configurable). Every litre is tracked and saved.

A movable delivery HUD shows order status. Drag and resize. Position saves.

Press Shift+D for the admin panel: capacity, pricing, sell ratio.

Twenty-six languages. Multiplayer is server-authoritative.

With Soil Fertilizer loaded, the shelves unlock the specialist catalogue (UAN, MAP, DAP, potash, compost, biosolids, named fungicides, and the rest). Without it you still have a working depot for the base products.

How you use it

• Place Depot and Silo on the farm, and a supplier zone near a shop if you want the haul.
• Browse live seasonal prices before you fill the year.
• Pre-order when the sprayer is still in the shed.
• Sell surplus when the market turns, knowing you will not get 100% back.

The outs

Soil decides what the field will accept. Pro Staff can discount fertilizer and fungicide as you climb, and those discounts stand down under Precision Farming. Fuel Costs still charge the drive.

What you need

This placeable alone is a depot. Soil Fertilizer is the reason the shelves get interesting. Neither is required for the other to load.
